Psychology  Department

Our Psychology Department comprises of a Social Worked and Registered Counsellor. We offer short term supportive therapy for individual children experiencing emotional difficulties dissociated with their learning disabilities, low self-esteem and social skills. These include but are not limited to, anxiety, grief and challenges in the home environment.

In addition, we work with children in groups to assist with learning social skills, enhancing self-esteem and returning to mainstream. The Psychology Department co-ordinates a weekly Parent Support Group meeting for parents. These weekly meetings cover topics of interest that are relevant to the learners with learning difficulties & parenting skills.
