Dear Parents
Our learners have had great fun playing with marbles at school and to a large extent it has encouraged social interaction and co-operative play. However, of late marbles at school is resulting in conflict and animosity among learners. Teachers have had to intervene and deal with numerous complaints from both learners and parents about the loss of marbles, keepies and swaps. It is also becoming a dangerous weapon as learners are throwing it at each other.
Therefore, we have taken the decision that marbles will be banned at school. This includes the use of marbles at homework centre.
Thank you for your co-operation.
Mrs Jugganath
